Help keep watch over our beaches

The NSRI’s Beach Safety Camera Network monitors high-risk beaches in real time, helping trained operators identify potential dangers and alert lifeguards and NSRI responders when assistance may be needed.

Who can apply?

You may be a good fit if you:

• Are 16 years or older.
• Have access to a computer.
• Have a strong and reliable internet connection.
• Are responsible, observant and able to remain focused.
• Are willing to complete the required onboarding and online training.

Knowledge of the ocean, tides, rip currents or the beach you would like to monitor would be advantageous, but applicants will receive a training manual and a free online training session.
